Intensive Clinical Programs

Home Base has launched the country’s first two-week Intensive Clinical Program (ICP) to treat Veterans and Families who are struggling with the Invisible Wounds of War, including Post-Traumatic Stress, Traumatic Brain Injury, Military Sexual Trauma, Depression, Anxiety and co-occurring substance use disorders. Based in Boston, but serving Veterans and Families from across the country, the Intensive Clinical Programs offer a holistic and innovative approach to clinical care that includes:

  • Comprehensive Evaluation
  • Individual Treatment
  • Group Therapy
  • Stress Reduction & Resiliency
  • Fitness & Nutrition
  • Family Support & Education
  • Integrative Therapies such as yoga, art, & Tai Chi
  • Social activities

Transportation, lodging and meals are covered for a participating Veteran and an accompanying Family Member. For those who have insurance, the treatment costs will be billed; however the Veterans will never have co-pays or further out of pocket costs. For those without insurance, full treatment is still available. Veterans and Families will never be denied based on their ability to pay. Home Base’s Intensive Clinical Programs are staffed by Massachusetts General Hospital clinicians and fitness and nutrition experts, all of whom who are trained in military culture and specialize in treating the Invisible Wounds of War.
