Helping Our Heroes in Florida Heal
Home Base Florida is dedicated to healing the invisible wounds of war – such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), anxiety, depression, and co-occurring substance use – for Veterans, Service Members and their Families through world-class clinical care, wellness, education, and research. Thanks to key partnerships and philanthropic support, we eliminate the financial barrier to accessing high quality care. All services are provided at no cost to the participant or family.
Since 2014 Home Base Florida has served more than 500 Florida Veterans and we remain at the forefront of discovering new treatments to ensure a brighter future for Warriors and their Families.
Florida Clinical Programs
Outpatient Clinics at Lee Health and David Lawrence Centers
Provides mental health services for the treatment of the invisible wounds of war such as post-traumatic stress (PTS), transitional anxiety, and depression at local sites in the southwest Florida region.
Intensive Clinical Program
This two-week outpatient program is designed to heal the invisible wounds of war of Veterans and Service Members. While based in Boston, MA, the ICP treats Veterans and Service Members from across the world at no cost to the participant.
Wellness Programs
Florida Warrior Health & Fitness
Our Florida Warrior Health & Fitness (WHF) program is a FREE, 90-day program helping Florida Veterans improve their physical health and well- being through supervised physical exercise, education about healthy eating, living, sleep hygiene, stress management and the health benefits of physical activity.
Florida Adventure Series
The Home Base Adventure Series provides FREE events and activities for Veterans, Active Duty Service Members, and their Families. Home Base collaborates with businesses and non-profit community organizations throughout Florida to provide a variety of year-round offerings. Click the register button below to get started.
